    Annual pre-season meeting for new and returning Halibut parents. Team suit sizing kit will be available! Swimmers are welcome but not required to attend. Meeting located in Community Room #1.

    Annual training session required in order to sign up for the following volunteer positions:

    Referee, Stroke and Turn Judge, Starter, and Head Timer.

    You must attend one of these training sessions to volunteer for these positions for any of the swim meets.

    For the 2026 season, our primary need is for Stroke and Turn judges.

    Meeting location is Herndon Community Center.

    Swimmers will be timed for Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke, and Butterfly individual events. This is a chance for swimmers to experience a real meet before our actual competitive season begins. This will also be a chance for parents to practice in volunteer positions such as timers, runners, and stroke and turn judges.
