The Herndon Halibuts is the Herndon Parks and Recreation Department's Herndon Swim League swim team. The Halibuts is a two-month summer program, and is a great introduction to swim team for those who have never tried it. For more experienced swimmers, it is a great opportunity to keep training during the summer.

All swimmers ages 5 through 8 must be able to swim one length of the pool continuously without stopping. All swimmers ages 9 through 18 must be able to swim two lengths of the pool without stopping.
