Halibut Parents and Swimmers:

We are happy to welcome you all to our 2025 Herndon Halibuts swim team season! This email is going out to everyone currently registered for this year's team, as well as anyone who was on last year's rosters -- in case you intend to return, but have not yet registered!

Our first event of the season will be our annual Halibut Parents' Meeting, held next Friday, May 16th at 6:00 p.m. at the Herndon Community Center in Community Room #1. We will go over team policies and procedures, give an overview of our program and the Herndon Swim League, and answer any questions you may have about the team.

There will be a sizing kit available at this meeting for our 2025 team suits. Swimmers are welcome to attend the meeting and use the sizing kit. The kit will also be available for use during our first week of practices. 

The team suits are available for online order through June 1st. Suits will be delivered and passed out during practices, hopefully in the week before our first meet! Please note that while the purchase of a team suit is recommended, it is not required. 

Finally, our team website is now completely updated for the 2025 season. Please let me know if you catch any outdated information that I may have missed, so that I can correct it!
